Company history

In September 31, 1954 Zibo Porcelain factory was built firstly and began manufacture in following April.
In February 1957 Zibo Porcelain factory was renamed as" Zibo Porcelain Factory,Shandong"
In May 1957 Zibo Porcelain began manufacture porcelain, then export Su-bowls from Qingdao export companies for 235,000 pc and so on. Fine porcelain for daily use now found its figure in the international market. At the same year, Zibo Porcelain basin was awarded a national Excellence in ceramic products.
In April 1962 Kunlun porcelain became part of Zibo Porcelain.

In 1966 Zibo Porcelain Factory started to experiment the rolling press formation and steam press model.
In 1967 the Zibo Porcelain Factory reformed raw material smashing craft, used the wheel mill wet work and the putty material pipeline transports the continuous production.
In 1970 Zibo Porcelain Factory began to try cold trundle dish shaper and the plate small dish to shear the putty machine automatically.
In April 1972 Zibo Porcelain Factory developed the everyday use fine ceramics, and with production of high frequency porcelain; the thermo-compression with thick liquid law to produce the covered talcum teacup.
In October 1972 at the autumn Guangzhou Fair, Zibo Porcelain products were selected by the foreign merchants, for first time accepts the exportation order.
In May 1975 Zibo Porcelain completed the ceramic system and build the first table to roast the colored kiln.
In October 1975 Zibo Porcelain for the first time went to the capital for display.
In June 1977 Zibo Porcelain officially undertook the porcelain supply duty for China country and accepted the ordering for the Japanese-style dining room of the Beijing Hotel.

In, 1978 Zibo Porcelain Factory was evaluated as “the advanced enterprise ”name in the provincial porcelain line.

In October 1978,Zibo Porcelain won the name of “The advanced enterprise of both quantity and quality” by the first light industries bureau of the Shandong Province.

Zibo Porcelain’s garden melon pot was named as the famous brand goods.

In February 1979 Zibo Porcelain won the technological Innovation prize awarded by the 1st Light Industry Bureau of Shandong Province.

In October, 1979 Zibo Porcelain’s color porcelain tea set, talcum porcelain, tea sets, Lu-Green dining tools, Garden Melon Pot and Engraved Porcelain has won Brand Product Certificate by the 1st Industry Bureau of Shandong Province.

In November, 1979 Zibo Porcelain’s Kunlun Engraved Porcelain won the High Quality Prize awarded by the Industry Bureau of Shandong Province.

In September, 1980 the Zibo porcelain’s “Kunlun Engraved Porcelain” won the national silver prize,which is the first time for Shandong Porcelain to get a national praise.
In February 1981 Zibo porcelain successfully developed the ZO-7 plate product formation line.
In March 13-21, 1982 young artist Li Ziyuan of Zibo Porcelain won the fist gold medal for China internationally for the 5head staionary at the 34th International Fair of Handcraft.
On May 1, 1982 to October 30,the young artist Zhang Mingwen shocked the internatioal show for the porcelain engraving and the show won our country 9,970 dollars.

In November 1982 the Mingyu Brand Lu-Green Porcelain has won the High Quality Prize Certificate of Shandong.
In December 1982 Zibo Porcelain successfully developed original green stoneware and the heat-resisting porcelain and passed the technical appraisal.
On September 15, 1983 the Zibo Engraved Porcelain got the national silver medal.

In 1986 in the national ceramics comparison and appraisal, the Zibo porcelain’s high quartz porcelain tableware and coffeeware attained the second prize. Zibo porcelain’s bone porcelain and the Lu-green engraved porcelain attained the third prize.
In August, 1986, invested by the Chinese Handicraft Import-export company Shandong Corporation of 1.5million Zibo Porcelain constructed one plant in Zibo porcelain factory with yearly production amount of 6,000,000 pc Shi Porcelain for export.
